heys :)
it's been a busy week
met up with grace and weili on sunday for dinner and to 'celebrate' grace's birthday haha. It was a good catching up session but we were missing celeste!
had the uk predeparture on sat which was nothing much the kings predeparture on friday was more useful but met alot of familiar faces there :) It's good knowing that a million miles away from home they'll be many people there with you too! Went shopping with my mum after that at marina square and had lunch at coffee club. then we went to get some cloth to make dresses and stuff too.
kings predeparture on friday was quite fun :) all the medics going seem really nice! haha they're going two hc people going! we walked from like chinese swimming club after that to parkway and after sitting down in the food court and chatting we walked all the way to costa sands east coast for the barbeque. :) A very very long walk especially in humid and hot singapore.
and recently i've been juggling too many commitments my parents are getting so angry with me. I have a million and one things to do before i leave (all the paper work, opening a international student bank account, get an international student card etc) and i have no time to research about what to get and blahs because i need to work! And now work is getting more busy too (just at the right time) and my relatives from sanfrancisco are here too so they want me to entertain them and then there's all the friends to meet up with before uni starts and everyone gets busy for example i must really apoligise to shun for not being able to celebrate her birthday with her! Gahs so anyway, the bottom line is that my parents really want me to stop work! Settle all my stuff, spend time with my family and friends before they leave and i leave. But then again i already told my boss i will work till aug29 and it's not very nice to go back on your words right? The my mum's so angry she was like why are you working? it's not even like the pay is very good right? I give you one thousand dollars if you stay at home then! :/ it's not about money! Seriously i feel bad if i leave now especially when they're kinda short handed at the moment. Oh yes and i will have to add driving lessons everyday to that schedule in about two weeks time. HOW? can you see my dilemma? haha ok everyone i talked to just told me to quit work though.
Things to do
tidy my room/pack all my stuff on display into boxes (my mum doesnt want them collecting dust when i'm gone)/ go look for my textbooks and decide which ones to buy first/open a hsbc international students account/contact kings about my letter/apply for visa/get my laptop and printer/start deciding what gadgets i need and start buying them/sort out all my clothes/check when my driving lessons are/meet up with everyone from primary school friends to jc friends/confirm my flight back/reply the letters and emails which i have been sitting on for way too long/update contact list/make a new pair of glasses/settle insurance/buy clothes/bring all my new pants to the tailor to get them shortened/go to the tailor to make the dresses for christmas/buy presents for peoples birthday/transfer all my sisters music so that i can bring them over/buy thermals/get a new phone/finish dr yips report/hep a injection/pneumonia jab/photocopy all my documents and make a file for my mum in case anything happens to me there she will have all my important documents and claim insurance etc (touch wood)/bring the cousins swimming tomorrow and to the zoo today/go through all the photographs and print all those i want to bring/ and the list continues on and on..

ok maybe i should really stop working
but i really feel so bad
you know i'm not someone who likes to go back on their word.
argh the headache
